Our main aim is to provide a comprehensive online database of mobile caravan engineers available to service or repair your touring caravan, camper van or motor caravan, listed by region. ALL engineers have achieved a level of competence to be able to service a caravan.

The MCEA Quality Standard ("QS") Scheme

Is a code of conduct that participating engineers work to and offers a demonstratable minimum standard of workmanship to the caravanning public. The "QS" service schedule is at least equal to any other recognisable servicing standard in the UK. Many "QS" members hold many other relevant qualifications and have achieved advanced competence levels for gas, electrics, running gear etc. giving you, the caravanning public complete peace of mind when booking an MCEA "QS" approved member.

AWS - Approved Workshop Scheme

AWS - Approved Workshop Scheme

The AWS is a workshop scheme managed by the National Caravan Council.
Many MCEA engineers are AWS approved which allows them to perform services on newer caravans without risk of invalidating a warranty.
Please look for the logo against their listing.

 


TRAINING

THE MCEA “FOUNDATION COURSE” IN CARAVAN SERVICING

The MCEA is not only the UK’s largest network of independent caravan service engineers, we are the UK’s leading training provider mobile caravan servicing and if you are a keen caravaner yourself and want to retrain to become a self employed mobile caravan engineer, then have a look at our "Become an Engineer" section for details about our regular courses and the training course contents.

The MCEA was founded in 2005 to provide training courses for those who wish to pursue careers as self-employed mobile engineers, able to service, maintain and repair touring caravans and motor homes on site, or at owner's homes. The instructors have many years' experience in all aspects of caravan servicing, maintenance and repairs.
